Modern trends of professional training of future teachers of master degree in institutions of higher education

Abstract

The essence of the next concepts: “tendencies”, “professional and pedagogical competence of the future teacher of a higher education institution” is clarified in the article. The modern master apos’s training of students as an open pedagogical system capable of self-organization and self-development is considered in it. Modern foreign experience and features of professional training of future teachers in the master apos’s degree (Great Britain, Germany, and the USA) is analysed. It has been proven that the study of trends in the development of educational systems in different countries of the world allows us to rethink the concept of professional training of future teachers; modern trends in the system of higher education require qualitative changes in the professional training of future teachers of higher education institutions and outline for them new requirements and responsibilities, areas of activity for obtaining innovative information, using pedagogical technologies, that are being learned throughout their lives. The main trends in the professional training of future teachers of master apos’s degree are highlighted and characterized: variability and constant updating of master apos’s programs; increasing the practical component of professional training; new requests regarding the formation of the professional and pedagogical competence of the future teacher and the expansion of his functions; growing importance of the self-educational component; introducing innovative methods and technologies into the practice of professional training of future teachers. It was determined that modern trends become guidelines for improving the organising of the educational process of master apos’s degree in the process of professional training of future teachers
